Through the years, we have worked with a variety of church on expansion projects. Here’s what former and current clients have to say:
Mission Hills Church
Scott and Tim helped Mission Hills with all aspects of our relocation project: The sale of our 65-year-old church property, the locating and buying of a new property, acquiring temporary rental space, selecting an architect, providing owner’s representation with the builder, being active on a weekly basis in building committee meetings, keeping costs down and project timely, being highly involved in acquiring funding, finding the best pricing on all equipment and finally helping to move us into the new facility. They helped to save us time and money. It was a pleasure working with them.

Crossroads Community Church
Professional, Knowledgeable, Honest, Straight foward, Expertly Skilled, Practiced, Reliable Godly Men are the words that come to mind in describing the Development Advisors team…Having worked with Scott and Tim over several years and multiple project phases, I can truthfully say there is nothing about our relationship and that experience I would change. To me, that says it all!

Stapleton Fellowship Church
We were and are were very happy with our relationship with Development Advisors. They took great care of us during our building renovation project a few years ago. From the real estate transaction to the completed project, they walked with us the entire time with professionalism and competence.
I would NEVER tackle a project of this size without a project management team – and DA would always be my choice. Sometimes in the process I felt like DA was the only one representing the church’s best interest. That’s what they care about….not if the architect is happy or the contractor – but the needs and wants of the client. Also, I would ONLY have an independent project manager. Not one provided by the architect or the contractor. You need someone independent, on your side, like Development Advisors.
We highly recommend their services.

Grace Place Church
Scott McLean and Tim Dreessen of Development Advisors (DA) have been invaluable coaches in the whole process of relocating the Grace Place church campus.
The process began with strategic planning that documented our history, vision, and potential. DA assisted us in carefully evaluating several different options including renovating an existing building in a nearby city and expanding on our current site. After this thorough research was complete, we made the informed decision to buy 19 acres and build a multiphase campus.
DA has coached us at each stage with property negotiations and acquisition, selecting and leading a building team, evaluating and selecting financing, selecting and negotiating contracts with architects and contractors, on into construction supervision.
Scott and Tim bring unique strengths which complement each other and provide not only many years of experience, but also a Christian commitment that comes through in the way they perform their work. I’ve come to count them as friends as well as competent professional advisors.
